FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Are lab tests included in your plans?

All routine followup testing for hormone levels and health markers is included in the cost of your monthly plan. Due to the high upfront cost prior to treatment, however, there is a one-time startup fee for new patients. This step may be skipped if you supply recent (90 days) lab test results from another physician.

How can I test my hormone levels at home?

We offer an easy at-home kit for this testing. You simply use a small lancet to collect a set of bloodspots from your fingertip, and mail them into the lab (shipping label included). We also send you a heart rate and blood pressure monitor for taking your basic vitals.

Is there an age requirement?

You must be over 18 years to use our service. Most clients are over 30, however, an age are where progressive testosterone decline becomes noticeable for many, and starts interfering with general wellness. But physicians on our platform will treat younger patients if indicated.

What testosterone level indicates a need for therapy?

There is no specific level that defines testosterone or GH insufficiency. Your hormone tests will be evaluated alongside your symptoms and other health markers. Physicians on MensHealthcare.com are focused on optimizing health and quality of life, first and foremost. They are not just treating lab numbers.

How often do you require blood testing?

Once you are on a treatment plan, your provider will typically monitor your hormone levels and health markers every six months. These routine tests are included in your plan. There are some instances where more frequent testing could be needed, but that would not be standard for our plans.

Do you accept medical insurance?

No. MensHealthcare does not process claims for, or accept, medical insurance. Our platform was developed to connect users with cost-effective treatment options that are not covered by insurance. Our services streamline this access, and as such are often more affordable than found with traditional providers.

Can I cancel my prescription plan?

Yes. We offer a service we hope you find value in, and will want to stick with. Likewise, we don't believe in long-term contracts. You may cancel your plan at any time. Just call or email us and let us know. Of course, we will welcome you back any time.

What medications does the pharmacy offer?

Network pharmacies are carefully selected for affordability and range of products. You will find an extensive list of brand and compounded medications. You can find a sample list here. You and your physician will determine the best options for you.

* Physician follow-up consultations are scheduled several times per year to monitor your progress and make adjustments, when necessary. Startup testing ($149.99) may be skipped if you can supply required labs and vitals from another physician, which were taken within the last 90 days. Monthly plan can be cancelled at any time.
